This extruder kit is the perfect replacement to your makerbot 3D Printer and this kit is for use with 1.75mm filament only. This extruder kit is made of plastic and it includes the gear, screws, spring and the main body. This is the right kit to replace your old or broken extruder and make your Makerbot 3D printer work perfectly again. Note: The kit is in 2 parts, one with the spring and the other with the gear. Please make sure to mount them together before mounting the assembly on the stepper motor of your Makerbot 3D printer.
