The B.M.G. is a compact powerhouse that uses an internal gearing ratio of 3:1 and precision cnc-machined Nickel coated Hardened Steel drive gears. Whether you need high resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with big nozzles, the optimized gearing ratio and our industry leading drive gears provide unparalleled pushing power and lightning fast retractions.

The Dual-Drive technology provides uninterrupted material flow without fear of grinding or slipping, even in the most demanding conditions. Users the world over will attest that even in prints with thousands of retracts, our extruders perform flawlessly, with unmatched precision, and zero damage or degradation to the filament.

The B.M.G. extruder is designed for 1.75 mm filaments, but has been tested to ensure performance of filament from 1.5mm up to 2.0mm, allowing for high reliability regardless of the tolerance of the filament used. It can feed all materials with high reliability, from slippery nylons and soft TPU/TPE filaments to highly rigid and sometimes brittle carbon-filled high-strength materials. The filament path is fully guided throughout the extruder body, preventing filament misfeeds when the hotend experiences increased back-pressure or when flexible filaments are used.

The thumbscrew tensioner gives you the power to fine-tune the pressure exerted by the drive gears onto the filament, according to your preferences and the type of material you are using. This allows you to optimize for the best results.

With the Quick-Release lever, you can easily make material changes in a snap. Just release the tension and pull the material to be changed out of the extruder. Keep the lever activated and insert the new material.

This extruder is compatible with both Bowden and direct setups, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for your application. In addition, it features an integrated hotend retention method compatible with the E3D-V6 hotends or others using the Groove Mount standard. Mounting your hotend is simple, secure, and wobble-free by means of just two bolts.
