New Bambu Lab 3D Printer Launched — H2S Arrives
Make room on the bench—the Bambu Lab H2S is here, and it’s a monster. Built on Bambu’s 2nd-gen platform, H2S blends servo-driven extrusion, AI monitoring, and a sealed, actively heated chamber with the largest build volume of any Bambu printer (≈120% more than X1C). Translation: bigger parts, faster iteration, and print quality that holds even when you push speed and temperature.
At the heart of H2S is a real servo-motor extruder delivering up to 67% more extrusion force, keeping flow stable at high speed and eliminating those tell-tale under-extrusion scars. A Vision Encoder tracks motion in real time for <50 μm motion accuracy, auto-compensating for mechanical drift so precision lasts beyond the first week of tuning. And with 23 sensors + 3 cameras, the printer sees what you can’t—tracking flow, temps, and filament usage while Liveview watches for spaghetti and foreign objects.
Thermals are next-level. The sealed chamber recirculates heated, filtered air for stable high-temp conditions, letting engineering filaments (ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PPS, PPA-CF, etc.) print warp-free. Flip to low-temp mode and the top vent brings in cool air with filtered exhaust, so PLA/PETG stay crisp and overhangs behave. The toolhead is ready for the tough stuff: a 350 °C hotend, closed-loop fan control, and a high-flow nozzle that, in Bambu’s testing, cuts print time by ~10–30% on large models compared to X1C.*
And yes, it’s fast. H2S hits up to 1000 mm/s toolhead speed with 20,000 mm/s² acceleration, backed by vibration/extrusion compensation to keep walls smooth and corners clean. The 340 × 320 × 340 mm build space means fewer splits, fewer joins, and more one-piece parts straight off a flexible textured PEI plate.
Want more than printing? Choose the H2S Laser Edition (or upgrade later) for a 10 W 455 nm laser with live spatial alignment, air assist, flame-retardant chamber, five flame sensors, emergency stop, and a Class-1 overall safety design when protections are in place. Digital cutting and drawing modules expand what you can prototype on the same platform.
